To track the status of your sent messages in a Linphone conversation, follow the steps below :
Status Indicators
At the bottom of each message you’ve sent, an indicator will appear :
- Enveloppe : Message is in the process of being sent.
- One check : Message received by the server.
- Two checks : Message read by the recipient(s).
- Exclamation mark : Error sending the message.
Check the delivery details
1. Long press on your sent message.
2. Select “ Receipt Info” from the options menu.
3. A window will appear with detailed information :
- Exact time of receipt/read.
- n a group conversation: list of participants who have received/read the message.
In case of a sending error
If an exclamation mark ❗ appears :
- Click directly on the exclamation mark to attempt an immediate resend.
- Or long press son the message and select ” Resend”
💡 Tip : These indicators help you know if your message has been received and read by your recipient.
